AQUARELA TOURS was born with the desire to discover Mallorca from the sea, in the most authentic and traditional way.
We’ve grown up sailing since we were little, and we have unforgettable childhood memories. We wanted to share this passion and open it up to the world.
It all started with the purchase of a traditional Mallorcan llaüt, which we restored with our own hands. We began sharing these experiences with friends, family, and, little by little, with more people. That’s how we decided to dedicate ourselves fully to what we love most: sailing, sharing our culinary secrets, discovering exciting aquatic adventures, and being the best hosts.
All of our experiences are exciting and designed to help you enjoy the best of Mallorca: sailing along its coasts, savoring the local cuisine, and taking a dip in its crystal-clear waters. We also offer various water sports activities, always accompanied by a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
We’re pet-friendly, so they’re welcome on board too. Our captains, Sarah and Dominik, have years of experience and oceans of sailing under their belts, and know every corner of the island to make your day at sea unforgettable.
This year, we also took home the pirate crown of the fleet: a pirate-style ketch, designed in Formosa (the former island of Taiwan) in the 1970s. A boat with many stories to tell, it also houses an escape room that will take you on a journey to find pirate treasure.

We also offer maintenance and cleaning services for all types of boats at the Club de Mar and the ports of Palma de Mallorca. We have several regular clients and offer one-off polishing, antifouling, varnishing, and much more through our business line: Waterline Nautical Service.
Our classic sailboat
The boat, a Quetch Formosa 41 model built in the 1970s in present-day Taiwan, has traveled a long way through various regions of the world, including Canada, the Caribbean, and Spain. With a fiberglass hull and wooden masts, it maintains its classic design and elegant details, offering an authentic traditional sailing experience. The boat is currently in Mallorca, where its story continues.
The project’s main objective is to share the passion for sailing on a classic boat, inviting all interested parties to experience it. To make the experience even more engaging and innovative, an escape room has been incorporated on the boat itself, turning it into a fun and engaging adventure.

Takarabune 宝船, Treasure ship
In Japanese folklore, during the first three days of the New Year, the Seven Lucky Gods steer the Takarabune (宝船), or “Treasure Ship,” a mythical vessel, through the skies toward human ports to deliver all kinds of treasures.
The gods carry with them takaramono (宝物), or treasure things, including the hat of invisibility (隠れ笠, kakuregasa), brocade scrolls (織物, orimono), the inexhaustible purse (金袋 kanebukuro), the secret keys to the treasure shed of the gods (鍵 kagi), the scrolls of books of wisdom and life (巻き物 makimono), the magic mallet (小槌 kozuchi), the raincoat (隠れ蓑, kakuremino), the fairy feather robe (羽衣, hagoromo), and the bag of fortune (布袋 nunobukuro).

Nuestro Velero Clásico
El barco, un Quetch modelo Formosa 41 construido en los años 70 en la actual Taiwán, ha recorrido un largo camino por diversas regiones del mundo, incluyendo Canadá, el Caribe y España. Con casco de fibra de vidrio y mástiles de madera, mantiene su diseño clásico y detalles elegantes, ofreciendo una auténtica experiencia de navegación tradicional. Actualmente, el barco se encuentra en Barcelona, desde donde continúa su historia.
El proyecto tiene como objetivo principal compartir la pasión por la navegación a vela en un barco clásico, invitando a todas las personas interesadas a vivir esta experiencia. Para hacer la propuesta más atractiva e innovadora, se ha incorporado un Escape Room dentro del propio barco, convirtiéndolo en una aventura lúdica y participativa
